Core Description

The role involves comprehensive oversight and administration of partner programs, maintaining robust relationships with technology partners across various domains including marketing, education, strategy, and rebates. The focus is on equipping BCX employees with the tools, resources, and knowledge they need to effectively sell and support the company’s products and services, and thereby ensuring that partners can effectively deliver value to BCX end clients.

Key Deliverables / Primary Functions

  • Lead the development and execution of joint marketing strategies between BCX and the partner channel. This includes synchronizing brand marketing with internal initiatives, executing targeted campaigns across sales, presales, and services, and managing partner marketing funds to maximize impact.
  • Oversee the administration of rebate programs, including tracking, processing, and reporting of claims. Implement strategies to optimize Program Management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address training requirements, closing competency gaps, and ensuring timely execution of initiatives for precise performance reporting. This includes customer support processes, employee certifications, and business practices to secure favourable discounts.
  • Facilitate regular communication between partners and internal stakeholders. Provide updates on partnership progress, share relevant information, and address inquiries promptly.
  • Collaborate with partners to align their efforts with client success objectives. Ensure that partner strategies are aligned with BCX.
  • Ensure that all partnership activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and guidelines.
  • Manage audits with partners to ensure they meet the agreed standards. Track the progress of the action plans and verify that corrective measures have been successfully implemented.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, fostering strong, collaborative relationships and assist in developing and executing strategies to engage with clients, including workshops, client presentations, and solution demonstrations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in partner management.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve the partner management process.
  • Provide feedback and develop action plans to improve partner performance where necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

NQF 6: 3 year Degree/ Diploma/ National Diploma in IT/Engineering or Commerce
NQF 4: Grade 12 National Diploma

Additional Education -Preferred /Advantage

Experience

5 years relevant experience in an IT partner support environment or partner enablement. 

OR

7 years relevant experience in an IT partner support environment or partner enablement. 

Certifications

Desirable - OEM Sales Accreditations relevant to position
