Core Description

To manage and support customers technical solutions by providing technical leadership and consultancy, advanced technical support, maintenance and troubleshooting on customer systems and provide guidance to technical specialists.

Key Deliverables / Primary Functions

  • Operate closely with associated infrastructure services teams to meet SLAs and resolve issues.
  • Provide architectural oversight of supported services and draft reference designs.
  • Provide advanced support for Microsoft Active Directory services, including DNS, DHCP, Certificates, and related directory services.
  • Provide advanced support for Microsoft Azure Services
  • Provide advanced support for Microsoft Products, which include, but are not limited to, Windows Servers, Active Directory Federation Services.
  • Consult, design & document, implement, review, report on, and optimize Active Directory related services.
  • Deploy and configure Active Directory services and integrate them with Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
  • Identify and manage service-related risks proactively.

Minimum Qualifications

NQF 6: 3 year Degree/ Diploma/ National Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science
OR NQF 4: Grade 12

Additional Education -Preferred /Advantage

Experience

5 years’ relevant experience in an ICT organisation

OR

7 years’ relevant experience in an ICT organisation

Certifications

Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD)
VMWare
ITIL Foundational V3/4

Professional Memberships in Relevant Industry
