Core Description

Responsible to oversee and direct cross functional teams in the planning, development and implementation of development projects and application solution.

Key Deliverables / Primary Functions

  • Analyse and create project scope and milestones.
  • Manage the handling and assigning of daily tasks.
  • Hold regular meetings with all parties involved to ensure open communication and expectations throughout development life cycle.
  • Address customer concerns in reference to products, services rendered, support interactions and service calls logged.
  • Actively seek to resolve any concerns while adhering to the company policy and standards of behaviour.
  • Ensure proper communication concerning changes in established milestones or challenges that may affect the outcome of a project's completion date.
  • Lead and promote a culture of performance excellence, employee engagement, innovation and transformation
  • Manage and/or oversee multiple, concurrent projects and initiatives to successful completion in accordance with timeline, scope and budget.
  • Provide detailed guidance and feedback to project execution teams and customers on all application initiatives.
  • Monitor adherence to governance, processes and procedures to maintain service delivery according to defined KPIs as per service level agreement and personal performance agreements.
  • Manage the identification and effective mitigation of risk within the environment in accordance with the defined risk management processes.
  • Use current tools and processes to the best of their ability to ensure successful delivery of development projects.
  • Interact with internal or external stake holders to provide the best possible solutions.
  • Following an agile approach to software development (Scrum / JIRA /TFS /Azure DevOps).

Minimum Qualifications

NQF 6: 3 year Degree/ Diploma/ National Diploma in IT/Business/Commerce
OR NQF 4: Grade 12

Additional Education -Preferred /Advantage

Experience

5 -7 years’ experience in software development within the healthcare environment:

  • Coding experience.
  • Project management.
  • Scrum.
  • JIRA.
  • TFS.
  • Azure.
  • Dev OPS.
  • GoLang and a required programing language

Certifications

Applicable industry certification will be an advantage
Delphi
SQL
C#
Scrum Master Certification advantageous
Azure fundamentals
DevOps/ Development methodology
