Core Description

To provide accurate information on configurations and their documentation to support all the other Service Management processes, assist team with technical solutions and coordination with other teams in the business. Incumbent of this role will be responsible for administrative processes and tasks within the IT Change Management process/function.

Key Deliverables / Primary Functions

  • Compile and Distribute Reports to SIM’s and the Client
  • Interface with Process Owners and technical support teams
  • Perform Analysis of Data used for Customer reporting
  • Monitor Process Activities in the environment
  • Escalate Inconsistencies in CMDB to relevant support teams
  • Review and Audit Data Integrity of the CMDB
  • Ensure all changes flow through the Change Management Process
  • Chair the Change Advisory Board (CAB) Meetings 
  • Ensure that the process between the Configuration and Change Management is adhered to.
  • Confirm change implementation and verify success of change implemented.

Minimum Qualifications

NQF 4: Grade 12 National Diploma

Additional Education -Preferred /Advantage

Experience

2 years exp or more in a similar position, within a complex IT change management environment

Certifications

ITIL 4 Foundation preferred
